The Whitefish Bay Public Education Foundation was founded in 1993 and has the mission of enhancing the quality of education in Whitefish Bay through the use of private resources.  To further this mission, we will:

• Provide resources to enable the schools to enhance educational opportunities for students.
• Encourage and sponsor creative and innovative educational programs for students and the community.
• Encourage and recognize outstanding academic achievement.
• Recognize extraordinary achievement by educators and staff.
• Promote and support the acquisition and use of new technologies in teaching and learning.
• Encourage and support increased public and business involvement in the educational process.
• Work to build an endowment to provide a base for future programs.

Fundraising for the foundation includes such events such as The Bay Ball and Run The Bay.  Additional funds are obtained through an annual appeal to the community.  These funds are used to improve educational programs, services and outcomes throughout the district.
