In the 2008-2009 school year, the Foundation began disbursing grants from the Cindy Nelson Memorial Fund.

The Cindy Nelson Memorial Fund was developed to support teacher's professional development.

Grant applications are accepted three times per year, a review committee screens and approves grants to teachers.

We expect to disburse grants until the Nelson Fund runs out in three to five years.
