The exterior walls of many of our schools need repair.

School roofs must be replaced.

Elementary school cafeterias are so overcrowded that lunchtime is divided into four shifts.

Because of moisture problems, musical instruments cannot be stored in the high school music room.  

Overcrowding is also an issue.

The Educational Improvement Solution would remodel vacated spaces in the high school to accommodate the increasing need for science and laboratory space.

Our schools were not designed to handle the electrical needs of the modern classrooms. As a result most classrooms have only one or two electrical outlets.

The electrical systems of our schools must be updated.

The gymnasium floor in the middle school is past its life expectancy.  It is slippery and unsafe.

Fire alarms in the schools must be updated.

The heating and ventilation systems in our schools are well past their life expectancies.

Throughout our buildings, original pipes and fixtures, many of which are clogged or leaking, must be replaced.
