Two scheduled conferences will be held with parents/guardians during the school year to discuss the progress of the child, one in November and one in February. Either the parent or teacher may arrange additional conferences whenever circumstances warrant. Open and honest communication between the home and school is an integral part of any successful school experience. We encourage both parents to attend these conferences. In the past, divorced parents have sometimes requested separate conferences. This is often problematic, as the dialogue, discussion, and conclusions in each conference may vary. Therefore, we feel it is very important for parents to agree to attend conferences together, and sign up accordingly
