SUPPLY LIST - GRADE THREE 2008-2009
24 #2 lead pencils, (12 sharpened)-labeled
8 red pens-labeled
1 box (12 or 24) colored pencils for map work, sharpened
2 boxes (12) washable markers – wide AND thin
2 hi-liters-YELLOW
2 erasers
4 large glue sticks (White Only)
1 pair of scissors with point
1 non flexible ruler (12" with metric on one side)
1 pencil bag for desk (NO BOXES)
2 rolls of scotch tape
2 spiral notebooks, wide ruled (8" x 10 1/2") (not college-ruled)
(70 page-one subject - NO PERFORATIONS)
1 heavy folder-any color or design
6 plastic, 3-hole pocket folders (with brads) – 1 red, 1 blue, 1 green,
1 yellow, 1 purple, and 1 black (do the best you can w/ colors. Please
buy plastic if you can as they are more durable and will last all year.)
1 wide ruled, loose-leaf paper for daily work (large pack)
(not college-ruled)
2 large boxes of facial tissue for the classroom
1 box disinfecting wipes
Additional items needed:
1 box of Ziploc bags – gallon size (boys only)
1 box Ziploc bags – sandwich size (girls only)
1 pair of gym shoes (used only for gym, to be kept at school,
labeled with name,)
1 art smock
1 backpack or protective bag for books
1 old clean sock to be used as a slate eraser
PLEASE LABEL ALL SUPPLIES WITH PERMANENT MARKER
*NOTE: All third grade students will be assessed for two
items at the beginning of the school year. There will be small
fee for individual headphones for keyboarding and a homework
portfolio which will include folders for all subjects.
