Social Contract
Mrs. Riedl’s Fourth Graders
(We work on filling this out together in class and signing it)
How do you want me to treat you?
How do you want to treat each other?
How do you think I want to be treated?
(What I expect from my class)
How should we treat somebody that breaks this contract?
What behaviors could break this contract?
Four Questions
(This is on each child’s desk and I point to it to help children think…)
What are you doing?
What are you supposed to be doing?
Are you doing it?
What are you going to do? When are you going to get started?
Consequences
1st offense-Warning-answer four questions
2nd offense-time out, answer four questions
3rd offense-lose recess-answer four questions
4th offense-phone call home
5th offense-behave your way to the principal’s office
Our goal is for students to build relationships resulting in an increase in behaviors that exhibit respect, compassion, and empathy for others.
Everyone in this class is needed and needs to feel this way.
