ADVANCED PLACEMENT

Whitefish Bay has been offering the Advanced Placement course in Computer Science ever since it was introduced by the College Board.  The Computer Science 3 and 4 courses are Advanced Placement courses and grades are weighted by a full point for GPA calculations.  Students taking the Advanced Placement course have consistently done very well on the AP test offered each spring.

The "AB" test is the harder of the two Computer Science tests available.  A score of 3 or higher is considered passing for these tests.  Each individual college or university determines what score is acceptable in order to receive college credit.
