Attendance:
Be in assigned seat immediately following the last bell.

Note: If student arrives after bell without a pink pass from previous teacher that student is considered tardy. I will report tardy to office and it is up to the student to fix the tardy if the teacher before band held them late and did not give them a late pass. This is necessary for us to start this class on time.

Class Procedures:
Unless instructed otherwise, band classes will proceed in the following manner:

1. Student takes book bag and sits in assigned numerical seat
2. After attendance and announcements student takes book bag and retrieves instrument and necessary equipment for rehearsal and goes to section seat storing book bag under section chair (after getting instrument out return case to storage space)
3. Student will participate in rehearsal or music activity of the day
4. At class end student leaves book bag under chair and returns instrument and equipment to proper storage (all instrument cases must be closed and latched) and returns to chair until dismissal bell

Note: Our band room is very crowded. We must work together in order to keep equipment from being lost or damaged. This is a basic respect issue for all of us. Help each other out by putting equipment away so it can be retrieved easily for the next music session.

There will be no eating on the carpeted areas of the band room. If we do have food, it will be for special circumstances such as Varsity band parties or lunch rehearsals. If you need a snack before class, eat it in the hallway before the bell rings.
