What follows are lists of what a student should be able to do by the end of each semester. The lists are broken up by unit of study and often reference the portion of the textbook used in the unit. These documents are intented to aid students as they develop their ability to specifically state what topics they need to master in a particular unit. Since mathematics is cumulative in nature, many learning targets are expected to be used not only in the unit where they are introduced, but throughout the course.
