Any student who intends to participate in NCAA Division I or II athletics as a college freshman must register and be certified by the NCAA Eligibility Center. Students are strongly encouraged to register with NCAA on the Internet (link is below).
The NCAA Eligibility Center charges a registration fee. The fee can be waived if the student qualified for and received a waiver for the ACT or SAT fee. Students should register with the center after completing their junior year. The NCAA requires the student to submit his/her grades after the junior year, so registering before then offers no advantage.
