For the first time in over a decade, Whitefish Bay High School has a chess club that also competes against local high schools in the Milwaukee Metro Chess League. Led by Freshman John Veech, the chess club meets on Mondays and Wednesdays for games, instruction, and match preparation.

New and experienced chess players are welcome to join.

Competitive Play

The team competes against local high schools across the city. All students carpool with parents or fellow team members to events. Events normally begin around 3:45 and last up to 2 hours.
