Week 2


 

Today is a special day of observance: George Washington’s Birthday - George Washington is honored for his efforts to create a new nation dedicated to the rights of the people.  He was commander of the Continental Army during the Revolutionary War.  In 1789, he was inaugurated as the first president of the United States.

Math counts will meet after school tomorrow, Thursday, in Mrs. Roloff’s room, room 17.

 

6th grade Chess club will meet today during lunch in Mrs. Quesenberry’s room, room 211. Remember to bring your cold lunch!

 

The WFBMS Student Council is combining TWO events on Friday, March 3, from 3:15-5:30 PM. The 7th annual Eat it to Defeat it to benefit the American Cancer Society and 9th annual Winter Carnival! Eat to Defeat it is a spaghetti dinner, catered by Bunzel's, and features a silent auction and a Talent Show. The cost is $9.00 per person. The Winter Carnival costs $3.00 for a punch card to play games and enjoy great food such as pizza, root beer floats, and more. See the student council bulletin board or Ms. Lynch for order forms and for more information.

 

Green team will meet  after school today  in Madame Kenwood’s room, room 121.

 

Jazz band will meet tomorrow at 7:15am.

Week 2



 

There will be no homework club today after school today due to the staff meeting.

 

6th grade Chess club will meet tomorrow during lunch in Mrs. Quesenberry’s room, room 211. Remember to bring your cold lunch!

 

Any 8th grade student interested in an opportunity to volunteer for the recreation department’s summer day camp program should pick up an application in the middle school main office. Applications must be returned to the WFB Recreation Department no later than Friday, March 24.

Tomorrow is the deadline for registering for Solo and Ensemble Festival. Turn your forms in to Ms Borghesani or Mr. Carson .

 

The 6th grade Pokeman club will meet tomorrow during lunch in Mrs. Quesenberry’s room, room 211. Everyone is invited!
