ANNOUNCEMENTS
8th Grade Parents:
Tomorrow, Friday, October 3rd is 8th grade picture day.  If you wish to purchase a portrait package, students must bring their order envelopes, along with any remittance, to give the photographer on October 3rd
 
Market Day
October orders are due online by noon on Friday, Oct. 10th with pick up on
Tuesday Oct.14th from 3 to 4 pm in the cafeteria. If you can't pick up
during those times call me and we can make other arrangements. There is a
link to Market Day in the PTO folder in the menu on the left of the Middle
School screen.
 
This month when you order online your name is placed into a drawing for
Market Day gift certificates. With every purchase of Cups for Hope - Daily
Blend Coffee Market Day will make a donation to Coffee Kids a non-profit
group that supports poverty-stricken coffee farming communities.
 
New products include BBQ Beef Brisket, Baked Potato Soup, Sausage Pizza
Eatzzas, and Sesame Ginger Salmon. Try the Pumpkin cookie shapes, delicious
buttery cookies are easy to bake and fun to decorate. Chicken products are
on sale this month including the top selling Chicken Steaks which are the
perfect size to use in any recipe calling for boneless, skinless chicken
breast. Please give Market Day a try the food is good and economically

NOTES FROM THE PRINCIPAL
PTO Chat with the Principal meeting has been moved from October 21st to November 18th. PTO is in need of a secretary.
 
Our first school social for 7th and 8th graders will be October 24th from 7-9pm. We are looking for some parents to help organize and supervise. If interested, contact the school office.
