Last day of school is June 10th. Student dismissal is at 9:50. No Junior or Senior Kindergarten in attendance.
CROSSING GUARDS FOR SUMMER PROGRAMS:
The following corners will have crossing guards, starting June 21st through July 30th. These corners will have guards from 8:45am until 12:15pm, Monday through Friday, with the guards taking a 15-20 minute break mid morning.

Winkie’s corner (Steve)
Santa Monica and Day (Michelle)
Lake Drive and Belle (KlodePark) Note: this corner will be covered 6/21 to 8/13.
Reminder to Parents: There will be a lot of construction on our streets this summer. Heavy traffic will continue on Marlborough. Please remind your children to listen to the crossing guards before crossing the street and to walk their bikes across any street where there is a crossing guard.
The members of the Richards Student Council thank the students and families who participated in our recent efforts. We sent 6 boxes of supplies to a unit stationed in Afghanistan through the Support Our Soldiers project. We collected 317 items with a value of around $290 and a combined weight of 55 pounds. This will have a positive impact on dedicated soldiers supporting our country. The Readathon/Runathon/Walkathon project raised a total of $453.26 which will benefit the Red Cross for Haiti Relief, Pennies for Peace, and the American Cancer Society. Many thanks go to our energetic readers, walkers, and runners as well as generous donors!
