Richards Night at the Admirals!
To all families registered for the Admirals game tomorrow, February 1st:
New this year: ALL tickets will be at the Will Call window due to school closings this week. You will NOT receive tickets through Thursday folders.
If you are still interested in attending but did not register, you can email Wendy at welsh@uwm.edu until Friday at noon. After that, please call John Bitter at 414-227-0829 and leave a message with the number of seats you need, so they can have as many ready in advance as possible. That helps keep the line moving for everyone else. Friday's weather is supposed to be MUCH better! Stay warm!
Extension: Order Forms for the Hunger Task Force Dinner/Bingo Night Now Due Tomorrow!
Each year, the 3rd grade class collects food and raises money for the Hunger Task Force. This year, the 3rd graders will host a school-wide pasta dinner and bingo night with all proceeds benefiting the Hunger Task Force. It should be a fun event to beat those winter blues! Historically, Richards School gives the largest donation of any elementary school — last year Richards donated over $2,600 — let’s have another successful year supporting the community!
HTF Dinner and Bingo Night is Friday, February 8th in the Great Hall!
- Dinner: 5-6:30pm, Bingo: 6:30-7:30pm. Bake Sale will run throughout the evening. Gluten free dinners now available!
- Families are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to help kick-off the Food Drive
- Unable to attend the dinner, but would still like to contribute? Families can donate Virtual Dinners on the order form to support the Hunger Task Force. Order forms can be found on the link below. We have extended the order form deadline to tomorrow, Friday, February 1st.
HTF Food Drive kicks off at the HTF Dinner and runs through March 1st!
- Families are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to the February 8th HTF Dinner to kick off the Food Drive
- The school-wide Food Drive will continue through March 1st. This begins on February 11th and is a friendly competition to see which classrooms can collect the most food items!
Third Grade student and adult volunteers needed for the HTF Dinner!
- Third Graders have a wonderful opportunity to give back to the community as they take ownership of the HTF Dinner from set-up to clean-up. There are many ways for third graders and their families to get involved and help in the event! Please take a few moments and sign-up, if you're able! If you are unable to attend the HTF Dinner, there is also a need for Bake Sale donations to help the event run smoothly. Any and all help is greatly appreciated!
For any questions, please contact Brenda Napierala (brennapierala@yahoo.com) or MaryKathryn Malaney (marykathryn.malaney@gmail.com). Thank you for your support!
