Fall Fun Lunch Order Information (5K-5th)
Fun Lunch will be catered by California Pizza Kitchen (CPK). The cost for each Fun Lunch is $5.75 and includes a choice of an individual cheese pizza, macaroni and cheese; or a salad with grilled chicken, ranch dressing and goldfish crackers. All lunches include a bottle of water, carrots, applesauce, and dessert (Oreo cookies or Rice Krispie treat). CPK lunches are peanut free.
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide refunds if your child is absent on a Fun Lunch day.
If participating in Fun Lunch presents a financial hardship for your family please contact Stephanie Haupt in the Richards main office (414) 963-3951. Fun Lunch scholarships are available and the PTO makes an effort to include every child who wants to participate in the Fun Lunch program. FIRST SEMESTER FUN LUNCH DATES: October 18, 2019, November 8, 2019, November 22, 2019, December 6, 2019, December 20, 2019 and January 10, 2020
How to Place your Fun Lunch Order:
- Login to your Membership Toolkit/BuzzBook account and click on Store in the main navigation, or on the Richards PTO Store icon. All Fun Lunch orders must be placed online via Membership Toolkit. Need to create an account? Visit richardspto.membershiptoolkit.com. Creating an account is free, easy, and only takes a minute. For more information visit richardspto.org/how-to-join1
IMPORTANT: If your child is opting out of Fun Lunch altogether, we still need you to submit an order form! Please select "Not Participating on This Day," for each of the Fall Fun Lunch dates. You will need to go through the checkout process, and will not be charged for any of the lunches.
- Please select a menu item for each Fun Lunch date. If your child is not participating in Fun Lunch on that date please select "Not Participating on This Day." You will not be charged for Fun Lunches your child is not participating in.
- After you have made your menu selections click "Add to Cart." The system will not let you proceed unless you have made a menu selection for each Fun Lunch date.
- Repeat steps 1-3 for each of your children in grades K5-5th. To pay for your order(s) click on the shopping cart icon. Please make sure to check out even if your child is not participating in Fun Lunch.
Please note that CPK is continuing to generously offer a free meal to Richards students when they dine-in with their family. Students who participate in the Fun Lunch program will receive a free kid’s meal when their family is dining. A raffle ticket will be given to each dining student for a chance to win an embroidered chef coat. Raffle tickets will be randomly selected and chef coats will be presented at Fun Lunch. Students that wear their chef coat to CPK will be allowed to make their own pizza. Please note: Only students dining with THEIR families will be discounted and an adult entrée must be purchased for every kids’ meal. This offer is not valid with any other offers or discounts (including the CPK Rewards Program), and is not valid to groups or sports teams.
Membership Toolkit
This message applies to you if you still need to:
- Confirm/update your contact information listed in the BuzzBook, and/or
- Have not created a Membership Toolkit account.
Every Richards family needs a Membership Toolkit account. Membership Toolkit is the service the PTO uses to manage the BuzzBook, Richards school directory. It is also how parents will send and receive Room Parent communication, place orders for Fun Lunch, Spirit Wear, Yearbooks, etc. Without a Membership Toolkit account, you will not have access to any of these things. Please take a moment now to create your account!
Just go to: richardspto.membershiptoolkit.com
- Create a new account in Membership Toolkit (if needed)
- Update your student(s) teacher
- Review your household information - did you move, get a new phone #, want to add a different e-mail address?
- Determine what information you want displayed in the BuzzBook
- Join the PTO (optional)
Membership Toolkit accounts are free and will grant families access to Room Parent message boards, and allow you to order Fun Lunch, Spirit Wear, Yearbooks, etc. through the PTO store. ONLY PTO MEMBERS will have access to the online BuzzBook. Membership for the 2019-2020 school year is $20. Joining the PTO does not automatically sign you up to volunteer for anything. It’s a financial contribution to the PTO.
Membership Tool Kit is the system the PTO uses to manage the BuzzBook. The BuzzBook is a service provided by the PTO to its members. Everything you need to know about the BuzzBook and Membership Toolkit is on the Richards PTO website: richardspto.org.

Parents Night Out
The Richards PTO invites you to a Parents Night Out on Wednesday, September 25th from 7:00pm-9:00pm! Enjoy a fun night out at The Bay Restaurant. The PTO will provide light appetizers. We hope to see you there!
PTO Meeting
Our first PTO meeting will take place on Monday, September 23rd at 7:00pm in the Great Hall. Come join us to find out what is new with the PTO this year. We are excited to see both new and old faces and look forward to meeting some new parents!
