The Whitefish Bay School District believes if students experience a caring, inclusive learning environment that supports the development of the whole child, they will grow socially, emotionally, and intellectually. While this is not a new belief, there is a recent increased focus on the systematic implementation of proactive measures to support our student’s social/emotional well-being.
Thank you for visiting our website. Within an inclusive learning environment our regular and special education staff strive to ensure the delivery of high quality instruction and support that ALL children have access to. Our Pupil Service Providers assist in supporting the development of the whole child. School psychologists and guidance counselors provide counseling, instruction, and mentoring to facilitate social, emotional, and behavioral support. Through the comprehensive guidance curriculum as well as individual and small group intervention, wellness and resiliency is promoted by enhancing decision making, problem solving, goal setting, coping skills and multicultural/diversity awareness and competence. School psychologists and counselors work closely with families and community providers to enhance collaboration and coordination of services and facilitate positive outcomes for children.
We strive for continuous improvement to enhance our programs/services and invite you to contact us with feedback and questions.
