Richards School is home to over 700 students in grades K4 (Junior Kindergarten) through fifth grade. As a school, we are proud of our rich history dating back to 1928 and also excited about our future! We value collaborative partnerships between parents and staff and also honor student voice in the learning process. Our goal is for each and every student to feel valued as a member of our learning community and be authentically engaged in learning.
As well as a strong academic program that is delivered by our dedicated teachers, there are other learning opportunities that enrich and enhance our curriculum. Vocal and instrumental music, art, physical education, guidance and library are made available for all Richards students. Spanish instruction begins in second grade. Believing that all children are unique learners, Richards provides support for all learners through collaboration, data-driven decision making, and the continual learning and development of staff.
