Messages from Dr. Kasmarick
Each week, typically on Friday afternoon, a student from each classroom is invited to bring all of the tickets earned by his/her classroom up to the school bucket in the main hallway display case. By the end of last week, we'd filled our school-wide bucket again, earning another all-school celebration! On Friday morning, we celebrated with some special recess time, including chalk, bubbles, and music! I had a blast dancing with many of our music-loving kiddos!

Calling All 5th Grade Parents!
On Friday, June 9, at 8:05 a.m. (prior to the start of school), all parents of 5th Graders are welcome to gather on the back playground to send their child into Richards Elementary one last time. Parents will create a line and high five, hug or applaud the kids as they enter school. It is a simple gesture that will be a fun way to commemorate their last day at Richards. Any questions? Email Beth Wagner at bethcrivellowagner@gmail.com.

Buzz Book Help Needed in the Fall
The PTO is looking for two to three people who are proficient at Excel to assist the Buzz Book chair with creating the Buzz Book next year. This is a great way to help from home. This work will begin in September. The chair will be responsible for formatting and is looking for help with data entry and proofreading. Filling these positions is a high priority for the PTO. Please email Ann Reabe at areabe@hotmail.com if you are interested.
