Donuts for Dudes - Tomorrow!
Please join us in celebrating the special dudes in our lives at Donuts for Dudes - tomorrow, Friday, June 1st at 7:30am in the Richards Great Hall. All students are encouraged to bring one special dude with them for donuts before the school day begins. Dudettes are of course welcome to attend. The school day will begin at the normal time for all grades, and students are expected to remain in either the Great Hall with their special dude or on the playground with their special dude until it’s time to line up. Questions? Email Susan Stadtmueller susan.stadt@gmail.com.
Fun Lunch - Friday, June 1
Fun Lunch tomorrow is being catered by CPK. Each participating student will receive a pizza, mac n cheese, or a salad in addition to carrots, apple sauce, a Rice Krispie Treat or Oreos, and bottled water. As always, if you have any question, comments, or concerns please contact Amanda Flegner (amanda.flegner@gmail.com) or Verna Pazaras (vernapazaras@mac.com). We always appreciate your feedback or ideas of how to improve fun lunch!

Now is the time to clean out any box tops you've collected over the last couple of months! We will be doing a final submission at the end of the school year. Please turn in box tops by tomorrow, Friday, June 1st and help earn money for your child's classroom! Thank you to everyone who took the time to clip and collect this year; you helped raise over $1,200! Way to go!!!
Interested in being a Room Parent for the 2018-2019 school year?
We are looking for volunteers! As a Room Parent through the PTO you will help with several initiatives in your child’s classroom. Without Room Parents, so many things would not happen! Each class is assigned 1-2 Room Parents and specifics vary from classroom to classroom.
Responsibilities may include:
- Assisting teachers with preparing classroom materials
- Coordinating in-classroom parties
- Securing parent volunteers for field trips and other activities
- Collecting funds for and preparing teacher gifts throughout the school year
If you are interested, please visit www.richardspto.org to complete the on-line form. If you have multiple children, please list in order of priority, in which child’s class you would like to volunteer. You will be contacted prior to the 2018-2019 school year to confirm your involvement. Please note that we try to provide opportunities as fairly as possible. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to the Room Parent Coordinator, Mary Kathryn Malaney at marykathryn.malaney@gmail.com.
