The Whitefish Bay Community Garden, originally established by a group of motivated high school students, is under the management of the Whitefish Bay Recreation and Community Education Department. We are excited and proud to continue the tradition of providing organically grown produce and flowers.
The Community Garden has not only grown fresh produce but has also provided a strong sense of community for the volunteers of Whitefish Bay.
Getting Involved
The success of the garden relies on our donors and volunteers! The Community Garden is looking for a dedicated group of individuals willing to donate time, energy, money and materials to keep the Community Garden going! Volunteers maintain the garden, harvest the produce, and assist in seasonal clean-ups. Additionally, volunteers will have the opportunity to take home fresh produce, herbs, and flowers!
Local Business Sponsorships are essential for the garden's success by helping support the cost of plants, tools, maintenance, and garden coordination.
If you would like to get involved, please fill out our brochure and return it to the WFB Recreation Department. If you would like to sponsor the garden, donate, or have questions, please contact Miriam Gerrietts, the Community Garden Coordinate, at miriam.gerrietts@wfbschools.com.
Thanks for helping our community grow in more ways than one!
