The school psychologists, in partnership with other school staff, will assist in effective and efficient school-wide implementation of a Response to Intervention (RtI) framework for both academic and social/behavior functioning. As part of this framework, the school psychologists serve as coaches in the implementation of school-wide Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS). Within this system, the school psychologists will facilitate the Problem Solving Team (PST) process including the analysis of student data and collaboration with grade level teams to support implementation of interventions. In addition to school-wide efforts, school psychologists may provide counseling as it relates to social - emotional development and support families by providing community resources. The role of the school psychologist in all of these efforts is to enhance student learning and overall well-being.
