The School District of Whitefish Bay will have two (2) positions for School Board Members on the April 1, 2025 ballot. View the Notice of Election.

December 27, 2024 by 5:00 pm : Deadline for Incumbents to File Notification of Non Candidacy
January 7, 2025 by 5:00 pm: Deadline for filing a declaration of candidacy and campaign finance registration form with the school district clerk
February 18, 2025: Primary Election (if needed)
April 1, 2025: Spring Election
Please call 414-963-3901 to confirm availability of staff between December 20, 2024 and January 3, 2025. District Offices and buildings are closed on December 24, 25, 31, and January 1. Staff will not be available to collect materials on these dates.

Whitefish Bay School Board Roles and Operating Principles
School Board- Strategic Role: Holds a visionary and policy-based broad (50,000 Ft.) view of the school district. Sets the charge for improvements by approving long and short-term goals.
Superintendent/Administration- Tactical Role: Holds a narrower perspective (10,000 Ft.) view of the school district. Creates and deploys the plans to meet the strategic charge or broad goals set by the School Board.
Teachers/Staff- Operational Role: Holds a detailed (ground-level) view of the school district through their direct work with students and families. Carries out the administration's tactical plans, which meet the School Board's broad goals.
