Virtual Learning Updates
COVID -19 Quarantines and Isolations - Anticipating the needs for quarantines and the potential of COVID-19 positive students during the 2021-2022 school year, the District will utilize the Learning Management Systems to post work and learning activities. Students in these cases will live stream into the classroom.
June 2, 2021 Update- At the June 2 Regular Business Meeting, the School Board approved the Virtual Learning Partnership with Kiel Area School District.
After completing enrollment projections, research on virtual programs and discussing financial aspects of a partnership, the administration is recommending that the Kiel School District become the virtual provider for the 2021-2022 school year.
Information on the Kiel virtual partnership schools can be found here. This program would serve a small population of students that require a virtual learning option in the 2021-2022 school year.
Preliminary virtual information was shared with the WFB School Board on April 28, 2021. The District’s virtual learning for 2021-2022 will be significantly different from this school year and will require a semester-long commitment and at home support from families. Please review the additional virtual program information located on the right side of this webpage. It contains more specific virtual program details, along with a frequently asked questions document by level. Any additional questions should be directed to your child’s building principal. All families that require a virtual option need to make their final decision for the first semester of the 2021-2022 school year by May 24, 2021.
