Teacher Email My name is Scott Williams, and I am entering my 9th year of teaching high school social studies, and my fifth year at Whitefish Bay High School. I am looking forward to teaching 9th grade Global Studies and 11th grade U.S. History 2/3 during the 2016-17 school year. I attended Cumberland (Go Cougars!), my father and older brother are both Whitefish Bay graduates, and I am a lifelong Whitefish Bay resident. Although I did not attend the high school as a student, my deep rooted connection to this community has allowed me to immediately see and appreciate how the values of Whitefish Bay High School's families are at the core of Whitefish Bay's approach to students and student learning.
I am a 1998 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison where I earned a B.A. in History, and I am a current student in Cardinal Stritch University's Masters of Arts in Teaching program. I student taught in Dave Johnson's classroom here at Whitefish Bay ten years ago, and then accepted a job at University School of Milwaukee where I was an Upper School history teacher for four years prior to coming to Whitefish Bay.
I coached Varsity football at University School for nine years, and was the Varsity Head Coach for two years in 2009 and 2010. I am now the Head Coach & Defensive Coordinator for the Whitefish Bay JV team, and having an amazing experience with our outstanding student-athletes in my sixth season coaching Blue Duke football.
My wife Abby and I, our three sons Bo, Ryder, and Jackson love living in Whitefish Bay. We are thrilled that I am able to give back to this community by working in our classrooms and on our fields with Whitefish Bay's students!
