Coming together is a beginning; keeping together is progress; working together is success. ~Henry Ford
Parent and school partnership is essential for the social, emotional, and academic progress of our children. We seek to foster honest, sustainable communication, collaboration in the form of a cooperative establishment of priorities and responsibilities for meeting the needs of our children, and a connection through the dissemination of resource information, education, and training opportunities. During the year we will meet to facilitate opportunities for input as well as information/resource sharing. We are always seeking ongoing feedback to enhance our services. Please feel free to call, email, or complete the communication form on the bottom of this page.
Wisconsin Statewide Parent-Educator Initiative (WSPEI)-Parents & Educators Working Together
The Wisconsin Statewide Parent-Educator Initiative (WSPEI) is a service for parents, educators, and others interested in parent-educator partnerships for children with disabilities. WSPEI is all about partnerships. It helps parents and school districts build positive working relationships that lead to shared decision making and children's learning. WSPEI/CESA 1 offers many workshops geared towards parents of students with disabilities throughout the school year. All are FREE to attend (however, they ask that you pre-register).

Disagreements may happen and the following links provide options available if you have questions or disagree. If you have any questions or concerns please contact Dr. Stacy Gahan, Director of Pupil Services & Special Education. She can be reached directly at 414-963-3924 or stacy.gahan@wfbschools.com.
