District Announcements
From our District Nurse: Please read on for information about our School Clinics this year.
If your child needs medication during the day, please go to your school’s website, go to the Students and Families tab, Resources column. Click on the Clinic site and print off the Medication Administration During School Form.
- Fill the form out and bring it to school with the medication in the original bottle. No baggies of medication will be accepted.
- Since we are limiting the amount of people in and out of the building, please call your clinic and one of the clinic aides will come out and get your child’s medication from you. Cumberland--962-8050, Richards--962-6810, Middle School--332-2861, High School--962-6648
Due to COVID-19, this year we will not be lending boots, hats, scarves or clothes out from the grade school clinics. If it is a cold or wet day, please make sure your child is properly dressed for the elements.
When a child comes to the Clinic this year, if they are reporting any of the symptoms below, you will be notified to come and pick up your child as soon as possible.
- Sore throat, runny nose, have a temperature of 100 or above, difficulty breathing, muscle pain, chills, headache different from what they have had before, nausea, vomiting or diarrhea
They will need to stay home until we know that it is not COVID-19. NSHD COVID-19 Decision Tool. If you are unable to pick your child up quickly, please have a backup contact arranged to pick them up.
They will be in a different location than the Clinic with supervision until they can be picked up. When you arrive at the school, please call the main office and they will arrange for your child to come out to you. The Whitefish Bay Public Library aims to provide excellent library service and to work to keep our community safe during these unprecedented times. We do so by following CDC, Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction, and North Shore Health Department guidelines and recommendations which has resulted in changes to how we offer library services. We want to share how the library will serve you and your family as we enter the 2020-2021 school year within the boundaries of our “Grab & Go” model. More information in the flyers below.
